surface

BRUSHED

The top layer of solid wood is processed to emphasise the grain. Parquet flooring with a natural, textured effect, suitable for rustic or modern spaces. Thanks to the action of a special rotating brush, the soft parts of the wood are removed to obtain a rough surface with a pronounced grain.

PLANED

Emphasising the specific effect of the wide planer makes it ideal for the PLANK collection. This is a rustic and elegant floor with an irregularly ploughed surface that can be combined with classic styles as well as the latest trends in contemporary design.

STORIA

Machining to strengthen the recesses and grouting. Calibrated surfaces and recesses are hand-finished with levelling grout.

BARRIQUE

Working to bring out the natural character of the wood, the engineered, barrique surface, characterised by an irregular, bumpy brushed surface and pronounced grouted veins, brings an unforgettable floor to life.

OPEN PORES
Processing that opens the pores of wood while maintaining an elegant effect that goes well with modern spaces.
CUTTING EGDE

Processing that leaves traces of the blade to emphasise the natural woodwork.

02

finish

LACQUERED

It is treated using UV varnish, which makes the surface particularly resistant and easy to maintain. The varnish finish creates a protective film on the wood that lasts over time. UV varnished flooring requires no maintenance.

OILLED

An oil finish brings out the natural characteristics of the wood and protects the surface well, but it needs to be repeated every six to eight months as the oil is fully absorbed. Oiled floors are darker in colour than varnished floors, but they have a more natural and textured look.

treatment

Stain

White, grey, brown, natural wood floors: standard stains are timeless classics that never go out of style. It adapts to any space, from the most modern to the most classic, making it stylish and welcoming. After the planks are brushed, the stain is applied on a roller machine. Then a new, lighter brushing is applied to open up the pores and increase the adhesion of the final paint finish.

Smoking

Smoking is a process that directly interacts with the tannins in the wood, which naturally darkens the board and enhances the inherent characteristics of the material. Depending on the amount of tannin, different shades can be achieved, so depending on how much or how little tannin is in each board, different shades will appear more or less intense.

reagent

Finishing with reagents consists of a reaction procedure that directly interacts with the tannins of wood and improves the properties of the material. As a result, the freshly processed material will differ from the samples available in the customer's showroom (which have already been on display for several months). However, you can be sure that in a few months, due to the maturation of the reaction process, the hue will change.
